Simple Steps to Healthier Eating Habits

  • Focus on getting ample protein at every meal

  • Fill half your plate with non starchy vegetables

  • Stay away from processed and packaged foods

  • Eat until you’re 80% full

  • Be a label hawk

  • Eat the rainbow! Lots of color on your plate

  • Add healthy fats to your diet and avoid saturated fats

  • Limit sugar to 35 grams
